Rants:Mia is bonkers (in a very bad way) over Brandon, who bugs the [poop] out of her. What is up with that? Then they let popper Tony through and still don't realize that they made a HUGE mistake when they cut Natalie! Bring her back! Secretly I hope that they're keeping in the wings for the fall season. Finally, I am bummed about the ballerina dude who wasn't let out of his contract. Phooey on you, Miami dancing company!

i love that Mia is so hard to please actually. i really like that she doesn't like brandon b/c that's his genre and she's gonna give him something insane so if he does it well he's as good as nigel thinks he is and if he bombs then we know he's not awesomeness set to music.
i already said i prefer bow-ties to straight-ties.
and can we talk about nigel's hair? it's out of control this season. i really can't stand it. i mean they gave tony (that's who it was, right?) all kinds of garbage for his hair and there's nigel with his stringy, i-highlight-so-you-don't-know-i'm-gray, wish-i-had-some-body, hair. sick.

Mia is pretty frightening. But some sadistic part of me finds it kind of entertaining…wondering what she’s going to say or do next. She’s clearly completely coocoo and further insulated by her self-importance, so any sort of carnage is fair game for her. Like a cat playing with a mouse – appalling but entertaining on some sick level. I’m not sure how Tony got through I just really don’t think he has that much charisma. It seems like they’re catering a bit to ratings and what will be “good for the show” rather than going on talent alone. Maybe that’s why Natalie got cut, like Amy said for the drama. I’m a total fan of Evan Kasprzak – I feel like he dances like Gene Kelly. The shirtless ballroom guy is Russian so cut him some slack; besides you have to admit he is a “premium dancer.” Can’t decide who bothers me more Asuka or Kupono (it’s like Mark from season 4 all over again!) My pick to win the whole thing is Evan or Jason Glover.
